SFA DEEMAQUA - REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS
Reverse osmosis systems represent the pinnacle of membrane filtration methods. The pore size of a reverse osmosis membrane is approximately 0.001 nm, and it can be used to remove dissolved substances, salts, organic and inorganic compounds present in water. The working principle of the reverse osmosis system is to apply pressure to the membrane, allowing pure water to pass from the highly concentrated side to the less concentrated side.
Due to its ability to remove dissolved substances in water, reverse osmosis systems are preferred in processes that require low conductivity and pure water, as well as in the treatment of highly saline seawater to produce drinking water.
